When your baby starts tasting more and more different types of food, it might be pretty hard to come up with healthy and nutritious recipe. We all know that pretty much all kids love pasta, pancakes and similar foods, but these can’t be on menu every day. If you’re wondering how to prepare vegetables, so that your child would eat it with appetite – I have a suggestion! These broccoli tots are not only healthy, but also tasty and easy to make. So if you want to learn how o do that – keep reading!

Preparation time: ~20 minutes

Suitable from about 1 year (depending on how many teeth your child has and what products he/she can already eat)

Ingredients: 1 Broccoli, half of  onion, 1 egg, 1 ts of Greek yogurt, a little bit of red pepper, 2 ts of breadcrumbs, cheese, cilantro or parsley, a little bit of salt and pepper if you’re already using it for your child’s dishes.

Process:

We will start with broccoli. Rinse it in a cold water and dice it in small peaces. I usually grade it but you can also use food processed just be careful you need rise texture. After you do that mix it with all other ingredients. Just have in mind that all of them have to be cut in very small peaces. After cutting I put everything in a big bowl and here’s how it looks like (here’s everything I used except egg, forgot to put it in before taking a picture 🙂 )

Then all you have to do is mix everything together and form broccoli tots with your hands. Put it in a preheated oven for 10-12 minutes on 180 degrees Celsius.

And you’re done! This is so simple and delicious that it might be your whole family’s dinner too!
